Terms of use for mediation service
When you start or complete a comparison or application for a personal loan, to consolidate your loans, car loans, business loans, mortgages, savings, insurance or other services via any of the websites zmarta.se or freedomfinance.se, by telephone or otherwise, you do this in relation to Zmarta AB, org.nr. 556647–0737 (hereinafter referred to as "Zmarta" or "we"), which provides these services. "Zmarta" and "Freedom Finance" are registered trademarks and are the names of our various business areas within Zmarta. Zmarta holds the necessary permits and is under the supervision of the Financial Supervisory Authority. It is important that you read this information before proceeding with your application.
By using our mediation service, you, and your possible co-applicant, accept and approve these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "terms"). When we hereinafter indicate "you/your", this also includes your possible co-applicant. You are responsible for ensuring that your co-applicant has taken note of and accepts these terms and conditions. The mediation service and your acceptance of the terms mean that you give Zmarta the task of requesting loan offers and/or insurance from our partners (affiliated loan and insurance providers) on your behalf at the time of application. You also agree that Zmarta forwards submitted information to affiliated loan and insurance providers.
Credit information and information collection
In connection with your acceptance of Zmarta's Terms of use for the mediation service, we order a credit report for both the main applicant and any co-applicant from UC AB (UC). After that, connected lenders can, for a limited time of 9 days and within the framework of the same loan case, order a credit report in your name without this further burdening your credit rating. If you subsequently add a co-applicant later than 9 days after you submitted your application, a new credit report will be taken in your name. Credit reporting may, by a few lenders, also be ordered from a credit reporting company other than UC, e.g. Bisnode Credit AB (Bisnode). If this happens, the information does not affect each other and thus neither does your credit rating.
You agree that we obtain credit decisions from the lenders with whom we cooperate.
You also agree that decisions from the respective lender and/or insurance provider regarding your application may be sent to the e-mail address and/or mobile phone number specified by you (via SMS).
Affiliated lenders may contact your employer and/or search public records to verify information provided. Zmarta also uses certain public records to verify information provided.
Approval for Lenders to Release Information
You agree that the lenders and insurance providers who examine your application have the right to disclose information about this and other information about your dealings with the lender or insurance providers to Zmarta. This approval is needed in order for us to be able to fulfill our mission as an intermediary.
Caution with new loans
Before you take out a loan, it is important that you review your finances by e.g. make a budget for the household and check indebtedness in general. Feel free to use "Hallå Konsument", which is the Swedish Consumer Agency's site for independent guidance, to get tips on how to get a better overview of your personal finances and what can be done to make the money last longer - info can be found here.
The mortgage service
Our mortgage service is a free comparison service where you can get mortgage offers from several lenders even though you only fill out one application form. When we have received a response from connected banks, you choose yourself whether you are interested in proceeding with an offer. The application is not binding, but it is only when you sign the promissory note from the lender you have chosen that you enter into an agreement with the lender. In order for us to retrieve information about the value of your home, you need to use a function for this in our application form. The function is free of charge and is provided via Värderingsdata in Kungsbacka AB. The valuation function shows a value of the home based on an independent statistical valuation.
To use the service, you must be over 18 and have access to BankID.
Sharing of Account Information
When applying for a personal loan, you can choose whether you want to obtain additional information from your bank account for a more accurate credit assessment. This is done in collaboration with an external party and if you choose to use the service you must consent to the external party retreiving information from your bank account.
Pre-contractual information in accordance with the Consumer Credit Act
The housing loans mediated by Zmarta are covered by the Act on operations with housing loans and the Consumer Credit Act. If you want to check Zmarta's permit, this can be done at the Financial Supervisory Authority and at fi.se.
Zmarta's credit intermediaries are employees of the company and meet the formal requirements to be a credit intermediary.
Fees and compensation
You do not pay us any fees for the mediation. Zmarta receives compensation from the respective lender for our part in the mediation. The compensation is variable and varies depending on who is the lender for the credit you choose. Exact compensation will be shown in the standardized EU fact sheet that you receive from the lender before entering into the credit agreement. Employees at Zmarta who mediate the credit have the same salary and compensation regardless of which lender you choose.
Lenders
Zmarta cooperates with selected lenders. Here you will find a list of connected mortgage lenders. All lenders have the Financial Supervisory Authority's permission for their activities. The loans are not provided on the basis of an impartial analysis, but to selected lenders as above.
Counseling
We currently do not offer advice in connection with the mediation of a mortgage.

If Zmarta does not report such liability damage to the insurance provider, you can contact the insurance provider directly and make your claim for compensation. Such a claim must be made as soon as possible, but no later than six months after you made the claim against Zmarta in writing. The maximum compensation that can be paid out from the liability insurance is SEK 10,000,000 per damage and insurance year.
Money laundering control
Money laundering means that money from criminal activities through various transactions is transformed into assets that can be reported openly. It can be money from, for example, tax fraud, robbery, theft, arms trafficking, drug crimes, and human trafficking. Those who launder money want to use banking systems in various ways to hide the criminal origin of the money.
We have a duty to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. Under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (the Anti-Money Laundering Act), we must ensure that we know our customers and their business well. We follow the Money Laundering Act, the Financial Supervisory Authority's regulations and our internal regulations to do what we can to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism. This means that in some cases we will have to ask questions, e.g. about the purpose of the loan, both to new and existing customers so that we can offer our services to you.
Personal data processing and Data protection policy
We take care of your personal data carefully so that you and your data are safe with us. You will find information about how we process your personal data in our data protection policy. Below you will find additional information that is specific for how we process personal data when you apply for a loan.
By using our services, e.g. by visiting our website or by applying for a loan or an insurance, you confirm that you have read and understood the content of the data protection policy.
